Ceremony Options
The Island
One of the most picturesque options Sycamore Farms offers for tying the knot is the island setting. Guests are ushered over our exquisite stone and wood bridge to a 9,000 square-foot island where the couple can exchange vows underneath a wooden pergola. Our 100 year old Sycamore tree makes for a lovely backdrop.
The Main Hall
The climate-controlled Barn at Sycamore Farms combines modern amenities with a traditional southern feel. The main hall can accommodate up to 300 guests at a seated banquet or 400 guests at a cocktail reception. The Barn’s wraparound porches and top-of-the-line A/V system make it a popular selection for Tennessee brides.
The Sycamore Veranda
The sycamore veranda looks out onto the century-old sycamore tree and has a 65-inch TV perfect for a slideshow presentation. It also features stunning vaulted ceilings and an 8-foot wide fan to keep your guests cool and comfortable.
The Lakeside Veranda
The covered lakeside veranda has a tranquil waterfront view and is enclosed in the winter months with its own heating facilities. The gorgeous views of the 2-acre lake create a beautiful backdrop for wedding vows.
The Sycamore Tree
Our 100 year old sycamore tree is the perfect natural backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Your guests will enjoy sitting in the shade and you and your partner will enjoy the stunning giant in your wedding photos.
The Sycamore Room
Our newest addition totaling 1176 sq ft, offers a great space for smaller ceremonies, buffet space, cocktail hour location, or even a green room.
What to Expect for Your Wedding Experience
We’ll work closely with your wedding planner to make sure your big day runs smoothly and without stress. Although your experience will be uniquely tailored to your desire, below are some examples of what your wedding at The Barn at Sycamore Farms can look like.
On the morning of your wedding, a luxurious bridal suite is available to the bride and her wedding party complete with makeup stations, a farmhouse table, plush sofas and a private restroom and closet. The groom and his party also have a suite with game tables, a 55-inch flat screen TV, and a private restroom. Both suites are comfortable and relaxing with a state-of-the-art heating and cooling system, making them the perfect locations to get ready for the most important day of your life. The suites also make for charming “getting ready” snapshots.
When guests arrive, they’ll drive through our iron gated entrance and have ease-of-mind utilizing our freshly paved parking lot, which has convenient parking for 400. They can then admire the lake and the 28-acre countryside while mingling with other guests.
Outside of the barn, Sycamore Farms has two covered verandas with beautiful views overlooking the Sycamore tree and island. This makes for a perfect location for cocktail hour, where the couple can mingle with their guests as the sun begins to set over the Tennessee countryside. The reception can then take place in the main hall of the barn, where our custom made 9-foot crystal chandelier makes for the perfect show stopper. Your caterers can utilize our large, modern catering kitchen while you sit back and savor your meal. Couples can enjoy their first dance under the chandelier, making for a glamorous photo.
